"Chapter Two" at Joe Jefferson Playhouse

January, 13th 2017 | Posted in Arts and Culture Community Events

The Joe Jefferson Players present “Chapter Two,” Neil Simon’s romantic comedy about a recently widowed writer finding love for the second time around. The characters in Simon’s semi-autobiographical play experience a whirlwind romance, a sudden marriage – and the inevitable fallout. “Chapter Two” reminds us all that love isn’t always as easy as it seems. “Chapter Two” is directed by Cathy Bouler, and stars David Peeler and Katie Anderson Jeansonne. Performances will be held over three weekends, from Friday, Jan. 13, through Sunday, Jan. 29, at the Playhouse at 11 S. Carlen St., just off of Dauphin Street near Murphy High School in Midtown Mobile. Show times are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $20; $15 for seniors and military; $10 for students. To order tickets, or for more information, visit the Joe Jefferson Playhouse Facebook page, call 251-471-1534 or visit www.joejeffersonplayers.com.
