View on Google Maps

The Playhouse-in-the-Park presents a thrilling, and sometimes humorous, production based on the life and stories of Edgar Allan Poe, prolific author of tales of mystery and the macabre. Adaptations to be presented at the Playhouse include four of his most famous tales: “The Tell-Tale Heart”, “The Casque of Amontillado”, “Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether”, and a story of the medieval plague, “King Pest”. This performance is suitable for ages 12 and up. FOUR SHOW DATES ARE Fridays and Saturdays, October 20, 21, 27, & 28 at 7:30 pm at the Playhouse. Tickets are $16.00 for adults and $14.00 for students and seniors. Please call 251.602.0630 to secure your reservations, or call 251-422-5434 with other questions. Join us for chills, thrills, and a pleasing dose of Gothic hilarity!
