Christ United Methodist Church will hold is 24th Annual Women’s Conference, Come Alive, on Saturday, February 24, 2017. This conference will feature speaker Rochelle Frazer Foster and worship leader Rebecca Griffin. Rochelle’s journey challenged her to leave “comfortable Christianity” for passionate pursuit of healing from a failing heart and marriage. Her story is one of HOPE that leads everyday women to seek their place in God’s greater story. Rochelle and her husband Todd are a picture of God’s redemption with their blended family of seven. They live in McComb, Mississippi where they Pastor a church called The Well where Rochelle leads their Freedom Ministry. Rochelle is also the author of Becoming Whole: For Such A Time As This, The Sweeteas, and He Gave Me Pearls. Our worship leader, Rebecca Griffin, is currently studying for a Master of Divinity at Vanderbilt University and is a part-time youth director in Cookeville, TN. She writes poetry, youth-based community development curriculum, and always has various other creative projects. 6101 Grelot Road. The doors will open at 8:00 am. The conference will last from 9 - 12:30. The cost is $30 until January 1st, and $35 from January 1st - February 24th. Registration fees include refreshments and childcare for children ages 0 - 11.
