Mobile City Council

District 6 ‘Council in the Community’ Meeting Set for February 7th

The City Council will hold the next ‘Council in the Community’ meeting on Tuesday, February 7th at the Connie Hudson Senior Center in District 6. These meetings are intended to provide citizens a better chance to attend a council meeting and meet with members of the Council and key city staff.

“This is a great opportunity for local constituents to come out and join us at this wonderful facility,” said Councilwoman Bess Rich, who represents District 6. “The more citizens involved and engaged in the city’s efforts, the better.”

The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM and take the place of the Council’s weekly meeting regularly held on Tuesday morning. The Council will soon announce dates for upcoming meetings in District 1 and District 4. The Council has already held meetings at the Harmon Recreation Center in District 2, B.C. Rain High School in District 3, W.P. Davidson High School in District 5 and the Mobile Museum of Art in District 7.
