The CompStat Coordinator is tasked with managing the process of crime data collection, analysis and outcomes. He assures the accurate collection of the data that is used in weekly meetings to identify emerging patterns and trends in crime. Investigators and patrol officers incorporate the data into an overall picture of crime and then are assigned to problem-solve for targeted hot spots and crime trends.
