District 2 Harvest Giveaway Coming this Saturday

– The annual District 2 Harvest Giveaway will take place this Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It will be held at the James Seals Community Center at 540 Texas Street. The annual event provides food, clothing, household items and furniture to local residents in need.
“Providing residents who need assistance with basic items like these can make a huge difference in their quality of life and the whole District,” said Councilman Levon Manzie. “Helping each other is always important but, something that becomes especially meaningful at this time of year.”
The event is coordinated by Mrs. Betty Harris.
