Key Committees to take up Proposals on Food Trucks, Tethering Dogs & Utility Poles


Mobile, AL – The City Council will hold the following committee meetings on key issues in the coming weeks:

 

Tuesday, January 12th

The Finance Committee will meet immediately following the Council meeting to discuss a proposed ordinance addressing food trucks. A copy of the previously proposed ordinance is available HERECouncilman Joel Daves is chair of the committee and is joined on it by Councilmen Fred Richardson and John Williams.

 

Tuesday, January  19th

The Public Safety Committee will meet immediately following the Council meeting to discuss a proposed ordinance regarding the tethering of dogs. The proposed ordinance can be reviewed HERECouncilman Fred Richardson, who chairs the committee, is joined on it by Councilwoman Gina Gregory and Councilman John Williams.

 

Tuesday, January 26th

The Public Services Committee will meet at 2:00 p.m. to receive updates on the status of abandoned utility poles throughout the City. Councilwoman Rich, who serves as chair, is joined on the committee by Councilmen Joel Daves and C.J. Small.
