Next Tuesday: Public Safety Committee to Meet

Councilwoman Bess Rich has announced a meeting of the Public Safety Committee will be held next Tuesday, May 8th at 1:30 PM in the Council Conference Room on the 9th Floor of the South Tower in Government Plaza.
This will be the first of a series of meetings on current public safety issues throughout the city. Invited to join are Public Safety Director Barber and Chief Battiste as well as other relevant personnel.
To assist in the discussion, the Council has requested information regarding the Booth Program, crime statistics and citizen complaints. Members of this ad hoc committee include Councilmen Joel Daves and Fred Richardson.
