Today: Police Citizens Community Relations Advisory Council to Meet

The Police Citizens Community Relations Advisory Council will meet today Wednesday, September 2nd, at 4:00 p.m. The group was recently revived following the Council’s public meeting aimed at ensuring a positive and productive relationship between the community and the Mobile Police Department.


“For our city to be successful, there must be trust and a solid relationship between our local law enforcement and the community,” said Council President Levon Manzie. “The revival of this citizen group can play a key role in ensuring those relationships exist and thrive.” 


The meeting will take place in the Council Conference Room on the 9th Floor of Government Plaza. While it will be open to the public, social distancing measures will be maintained. The meeting will also be livestreamed at:
