Mobile, Ala. — The City of Mobile is once again teaming up with the non-profit Growing Real Alternatives Everywhere (GRAE) to host another local Warrant Clinic on June 13, 2025.

Led by the City of Mobile Legal Department and the Mobile Municipal Court, this is the third in a series of free clinics that offer an easy way to address outstanding warrants for traffic violations in municipal court. GRAE has worked with communities around the country to facilitate similar events, including two in Mobile that have helped hundreds of locals resolve thousands of warrants for minor traffic violations.

The goal of these events is to help anyone with active traffic-related warrants in Mobile Municipal Court quickly resolve those in a relaxed and unintimidating space without the fear of arrest. There is no dress code, and the municipal judges and officers of the court will be in plain clothes.

The June 13 Warrant Clinic will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Springhill Recreation Center, and children and family members of those resolving their traffic warrants are also welcome to attend. There will be family-friendly entertainment, childcare, food, and other community resources available.

“At previous clinics, our legal department and municipal court worked with GRAE to help resolve more than 2,500 active warrants, mostly for minor traffic offenses,” Mayor Sandy Stimpson said. “Having these clinics has been a benefit to hundreds of citizens and has also helped our Municipal Court address a backlog of traffic-related cases. I appreciate the work that our staff and GRAE have put into this effort.”

Those with traffic-related warrants before the Mobile Municipal Court can sign up for the June 13 clinic at: https://form.jotform.com/250077211182043. For more information, contact GRAE at (251) 552-1217.
