Lighting of the Mardi Gras Tree

Be part of an unforgettable kickoff to the Mardi Gras season!

Bring your family and friends to watch the spectacular Lighting of the Mardi Gras Tree and Brass Band Showcase from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 10. Experience the fun, music, and magic that marks the beginning of this festive season! Check out the order of events below:

• 5:45 PM: Magnolia Breeze Youth Ensemble (Mobile, AL)
• 6:20 PM: Mardi Gras Tree Lighting
• 6:30 PM: Second Line Society Brass Band (Mobile, AL)
• 7:10 PM: 9th Avenue Brass Band (Pensacola, FL)
• 7:45 PM: Southern Komfort Brass Band (Jackson, MS)

Plus, there will be food trucks and other vendors! You won't want to forget this Carnival celebration in Mobile, the birthplace of Mardi Gras.
