Units from MFRD, including Rescue 24, Engine 16, Truck 24, Heavy Rescue 25, Truck 17 and District Chiefs 1 and 2, were on the scene. They provided immediate medical attention and worked to extricate a female who was in a car trapped under a tanker truck carrying ethylene glycol.
After rescuers freed her from the car, Rescue 24 transported her to a local hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The road has reopened to traffic.

Mobile, Ala. — Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at about 7:56 a.m. to the northbound lanes of I-65 north of I-10 and south of Government Boulevard for multiple calls about a vehicle trapped under a semi Friday morning, July 19, 2024.
I-65 northbound between I-10 and Government is currently blocked to all traffic. Personnel are on scene at this time.
