Arrest Made in Connection With New Year's Day Incident

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department Arson Unit arrested Sammy Benjamin Bockhorn and charged him with Attempted Arson 1st Degree Thursday, January 9, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama. The arrest was made in connection with an early morning New Year's Day incident in which a Molotov cocktail was thrown at an occupied residence in the 4300 block of Knob Hill Drive. There were no injuries and only minor damage caused because the fire was discovered and extinguished quickly by an occupant of the home.
