At approximately 4:49 PM, Mobile Fire-Rescue Department companies were dispatched to a residential fire on Ashley Drive. Crews arrived on scene to discover a 2-story residence with smoke and flames present in the kitchen.
All occupants were evacuated prior to fire personnel arrival.
This is currently an active emergency scene, and firefighters are working to mitigate the incident.

UPDATE (5:32 PM)
Incident Command informa that the Ashley Drive fire is under control. There were no victims discovered trapped inside of the home, and three have been no injuries reported from the scene.
Crews remain on scene performing overhaul operations.
A preliminary investigation is underway.
