Bryan Pritchard Named May 2025 Firefighter of the Month

The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department is proud to announce Fire Service Driver Bryan S. Pritchard as the May 2025 Firefighter of the Month. Driver Pritchard was hired to serve the City of Mobile in July of 2015, promoting to the rank of Fire Service Driver in 2023. 

Driver Pritchard exemplifies the etiquette of a driver/operator each day, meticulously performing his duties with the utmost care and diligence. His attention to detail, respect for operational readiness, and flexibility allow him to present professionalism and high standards in every role he assumes.

Driver Pritchard is well-versed and experienced as a Hazardous Materials Technician, a specialty role even among the MFRD’s well-trained members, assigned for the emergency handling of hazardous materials incidents. As a veteran firefighter and experienced Hazardous Materials Team member, Driver Pritchard takes special pride in training and mentoring new firefighters and newly assigned team members. Driver Pritchard has proven himself to be a most-valuable asset of the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department and to the citizens of Mobile.
