Mobile Fire-Rescue Department firefighters were dispatched at about 5:18 p.m. for a report of a residential fire in the 900 block of Donald Street in Mobile, Alabama, Friday, April 4, 2025.
Engine 14 arrived on scene first to find flames and smoke visible from a single-story, wood frame residence. They began to extinguish the fire as other crews arrived to help.
Crews performed primary and secondary searches to make sure no one was inside the home. No one was found. Firefighters stayed on scene to completely extinguish the fire before returning to service.
There were no reports of any injuries. The fire is under investigation at this time.
