MOBILE, Alabama - Mobile Fire-Rescue Department crews are on scene of a working fire in the 400 block of Donald Street. Personnel confirmed heavy smoke present in an unoccupied, single story structure upon arrival at approximately 9:59 AM.
Suppression teams rushed into the structure to begin the initial fire attack, while search & reacue squads confirmed the structure was clear of civilians.
After an aggressive, interior push, the fire has been confirmed extinguished and under control (10:07 AM).
Crews remain on scene for overhaul operations and searching for potential hotspots.
