Green Park Drive Residential Fire

MOBILE, Ala. – At approximately 8:17 hours, Mobile Fire-Rescue Department companies were dispatched to the Pleasanton Hills Mobile Home Community on Green Park Drive for reports of a mobile home structure on fire.

Crews arrived on scene to discover flames and smoke visible from a mobile home unit. Pleasanton Hills management staff advised that a single occupant was inside of the structure at the time of the fire, but safely left the home prior to MFRD arrival on scene.

Fire suppression teams entered the property and quickly began their initial fire attack. All signs of fire were extinguished in fewer than 15 minutes. No other occupants were inside of the structure at the time of the incident.

No one was reported injured at the scene. Fire Investigators determined that the cause of the fire was intentionally set. The investigation is ongoing.
