Steve Huffman Public Information Officer (251) 208-2857/Fax: (251) 208-2861 E-Mail: huffman@cityofmobile.org LIVE FIRE TRAINING BURN The Mobile Fire-Rescue Training Academy will be burning a house located in the 8000 block of Wilroh Road on Thursday morning, July 19 as part of a Live Fire Instructor Awareness class being conducted this week. The actual burn is scheduled to take place between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. Live Fire Instructor Awareness is a 16 hour course taught to veteran firefighters on how to safely conduct live fire training evolutions for new recruits, as well as, veteran firefighters. The class is certified by the Alabama Fire College and taught here by members of MFRD. There are approximately 20 firefighters in the class. ###
