The department will be conducting sign-ups for the test September 24-29 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. daily at the Mobile Fire-Rescue Training Academy located at 860 Owens St (located across from the Animal Shelter. Candidates will need a valid driver’s license and National Registry Paramedic Certification to sign-up. The CPAT is a prerequisite for those interested in applying for the position of firemedic. This is not an offer of employment, only sign up for the test. Interested persons must possess a current National Registry Paramedic Certification as a pre requisite to signing up. No exceptions.
