Residential Fire
Mobile, AL – Mobile Fire-Rescue Department crews were dispatched at approximately 08:59 hours to the 8600 block of Howells Ferry Road. Callers and neighbors reported visible flames from the roof of a single story home. MFRD personnel arrived on scene to heavy flames and smoke billowing from a vacant residential home.
Crews were able to successfully extinguish the flames without any reported injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
