St. Stephens Road Residential Fire

9:19 PM - The fire is under control. Crews remain on scene performing overhaul operations. 
There are no reports of injuries. 

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department companies were dispatched to the 2000 block of St. Stephens Rd at approximately 8:08 p.m. for reports of a home on fire. 

Fire personnel arrived and described a single-story residence with heavy fire present. All occupants safely evacuated the home prior to MFRD arrival. 

District 1 and 3 Chiefs, Engines 14, 12, 8, 3, Trucks 17, 4, Rescue 14, and Rehab 1 are on scene working to mitigate the incident.
