Wolf Ridge Road Residential Fire

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department firefighters were dispatched at 10:23 p.m. for a report of a residential fire in the 2400 block of Wolf Ridge Road in Mobile, Alabama, Tuesday night, January 28, 2025.

Engine 12 arrived on scene to find smoke and flames visible from the front of a single story, wood frame residence. Firefighters entered the residence to extinguish the fire and to search for any victims inside. None were found.

Mobile Police Department had detained a person of interest at the scene. Mobile Fire-Rescue Department Arson Unit interviewed the individual and determined that the fire was intentionally set. Hollis Lashun Thompson was arrested and charged with second degree arson.

Districts 4 and 2 Chiefs, Engines 12, 14, 18, and 22, Truck 17, Rescue 12, Utility 54, and Car 80 were dispatched to this fire.
