Mobile, AL – At approximately 9:01 AM, Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched to the 100 block of Oklahoma Drive for reports of a home on fire in the area. Upon arrival on scene, crews confirmed a single-story residence with visible flames and smoke.
Firefighters entered the structure to begin suppression operations. All occupants were confirmed to have safely escaped the burning structure prior to MFRD arrival.
Incident Command reported the fire was under control at approximately 9:15.
There were no injuries to civilians or responding firefighters. The home is estimated to be a total loss after sustaining significant damage from flames and water.
Arson Investigators responded and determined that the fire was intentionally set. A suspect was detained at the scene. After a thorough investigation, Brandon Hall (DOB: April 22, 1986) was arrested and charged with Arson 1 and transported to Mobile Metro Jail.
