Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at about 10:09 a.m. for a report of a residential fire in the 4000 block of Old Shell Road in Mobile, Alabama, Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
Units arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a two-story brick home. Firefighters made entry with hoses to extinguish the fire and to search for any victims inside. None were found.
A person was inside at the time of the blaze, but he evacuated safely and was uninjured. The fire is under investigation at this time. There were no reports of any injuries.
