Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at about 12:09 p.m. for a report of a residential fire in the 2600 block of Serigny Drive in Mobile, Alabama, on Sunday, May 26, 2025.
Units arrived on scene to find smoke and flames visible from the side of a single-story, wood-frame residence. Firefighters established a water supply and entered to extinguish the flames and search for anyone inside. No one was found.
After some time, the fire was stopped, and crews entered the attic to check for extension. They remained on scene to make sure all remaining hotspots were extinguished.
There were no reports of any injuries. The fire cause has been classified as accidental.
