Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at 9:56 a.m. for a report of a small boat in distress in a waterway north of the USS Alabama battleship Friday morning, September 20, 2024.
Water Rescue 8 launched and safely retrieved a man from a boat whose propellor had become entangled with the line of a crab trap.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
