Wyoming Drive Residential Fire

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units were dispatched at about 2:08 p.m. for a report of a residential fire in the area of West Wyoming Drive and Cottage Hill Avenue in Mobile, Alabama, Thursday, June 12, 2025, after dispatch received multiple calls.

Engine 23 arrived on scene first to find a single-story, wood-frame residence in the 500 block of West Wyoming Drive on fire. Other fire companies arrived and firefighters began extinguishment efforts and performed primary and secondary searches to look for anyone inside. No one was found.

Crews brought the fire under control and the investigator collected evidence. They then performed salvage and overhaul and extinguished any remaining hotspots.

There were no reports of any injuries. The home suffered severe damage. The fire is under investigation at this time.
