Mobile Parks and Recreation Department’s Mobile Tennis Center has just been awarded Parks and Recreation Agency of the Year by Racquet Sports Industry Magazine. This award recognizes the tennis facility operated by a Parks and Rec agency nation-wide that best supports the sport of tennis.
Racquet Sports Industry Magazine Editor Peter Francesconi calls this award, "one of our most important," Francesconi added, "Mobile Park & Rec does everything well, and we're thrilled to honor all their great work....Under Scott Novak and his staff, Mobile Park & Rec's [Tennis Center] is a model for others around the country."
RSI honors tennis facilities around the country, and it should be no surprise that the Mobile Parks and Recreation Tennis Center has received this award. As one of the world's largest public tennis facilities, Mobile Tennis Center features 60 state-of-the-art lighted hard courts, a well-stocked pro shop, an in-house racquet stringer, and a staff of tennis pros.
