As Director of Real Estate and Asset Management, Cassie Boatwright leads the Architectural Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Maintenance, and Real Estate teams for the City. These teams are responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving all City properties as well as the acquisition and disposition of City-owned Assets.

Prior to joining the City of Mobile’s REAM division in 2021, Cassie was the Director of Facilities Management for Escambia County, Florida. Cassie has also served as Dean of Operations for Coastal Alabama Community College; Executive Director of Facilities for Bishop State Community College; Director of Purchasing, Auxiliary, and Central Services for Pensacola State College; Director of Facilities Management for Yuma Union High School District; Assistant Tribal Administrator for Cocopah Indian Tribe; Director of Planning and Development, Fort Pierce Reservation for the Seminole Tribe of Florida; and Draftsman/ Surveyor for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.

Cassie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Master of Science in Public Administration Acquisition and Contract Administration from the University of West Florida. She is a Certified Government Financial Manger (CGFM), LEED Associate, a Florida Certified Contract Manager, a Florida Certified Contract Negotiator, and former Baldwin County Planning and Zoning Commissioner. She has been recognized as a Construction Project of the Year Awardee and as a Rising Star of Pensacola.

Cassie is a resident of Stockton and enjoys the river, creeks, and her motorcycle. She is married and has a son, Trex.
