McGrew Court Residential Fire

MOBILE, Ala. – At approximately 21:58 hours, Engine Company 23 responded to the area of Ralston Road and Glenn Avenue to investigate reports of smoke coming from an unknown location. Upon arrival in the 2700 block of McGrew Court, Engine 23 crew noted heavy smoke billowing from a single-story, wood-frame construction home, and immediately requested a full response for a residential fire.

Additional Mobile Fire-Rescue units were dispatched at approximately 22:03 hours. No civilians were discovered inside of the structure. Fire personnel were able to locate flames within the dwelling and safely extinguish without any injuries.

Mobile Fire-Rescue Department continues to investigate the cause and origin of the fire.
