Life Saving Award: FF Todd Machen
On Sunday, October 7th, Engine 7 and Rescue 19 were dispatched to the American Family Medical Clinic for one suffering cardiac arrest. Upon arrival on scene, first responders noted an unresponsive female patient in the parking lot, being cared for by clinic staff and OFF-DUTY firefighter Todd Machen. Early intervention provided by the staff and Firefighter Machen were instrumental in the patient regaining a pulse upon arriving at the hospital.
