Start/End Time: 7:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m. The Mobile Arts Council and Wind Creek Hospitality are proud to present this year’s Artys. The annual awards event will feature food, drinks and entertainment. The Artys is an annual awards program that celebrates the important contributions that individuals, groups and businesses make to the Mobile cultural community in 11 different categories. The winners of each category will be announced at the event and presented with the limited edition award designed by Susie Bowman, owner of the Kiln Studio and Gallery. The ceremony will take place on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Alabama Contemporary Art Center, 301 Conti St., Mobile, Ala. 36602. Advance tiickets are $30 each and can be purchased in-person at the Mobile Arts Council or online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2581592. Tickets purchased the day-of the event will go up to $35. This event is projected to be the most memorable Artys to date and tickets are expected to sell out.
