Rev. Clinton L. Johnson is a native Mobilian, the youngest of seven children born to the union of Mr. & Mrs. Alfred F. (Clara) Johnson. He is married to the former Barbara Gibson and two daughters and a son were born to this union.

Educated in the Mobile County Public School System.

Graduate of Alabama A & M University with a Degree in Government & Sociology.

Graduate of Mobile College with a Degree in Religion.

Graduate of the University of South Alabama with a Master's Degree in Psychology & Counseling

Rev. Johnson has done additional study at the University of Tennessee, University of Georgia, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Employment

Rev. Johnson is retired as a Rehabilitation Supervisor and Coordinator of Facility Services for the State of Alabama Vocational Rehabilitation Service after 26 years of service.

Rev. Johnson pastored the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Citronelle, Alabama, for 8 years and has served as Pastor of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Mobile, Alabama for the past 18 years.

Currently, he is serving his fifth term as a Mobile City Councilman for District 3 and previously served two terms as Council President.
