City of Mobile offices closing at noon due to severe weather
Community, and senior centers will maintain regular hours
Mobile, Ala. — Due to deteriorating weather conditions, a Proclamation of Civil Emergency has been issued for the City of Mobile and its police jurisdiction.
The civil emergency will be effective from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. today, April 10, 2024. As a result, the City of Mobile will close its offices at noon for all non-essential personnel. Mobile Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) Community Centers and Senior Centers will remain open during their regular operating hours. The public is welcome to use them during the severe weather today.
