Mobile, Ala.
 — The City of Mobile is once again teaming up with the nonprofit Growing Real Alternatives Everywhere (GRAE) to host a Warrant Clinic for traffic-related offenses on Nov. 7.

Led by the City of Mobile Legal Department and the Mobile Municipal Court, this will be the fourth in a series of free clinics offering residents an easy way to address outstanding warrants for traffic violations in municipal court. GRAE has worked with communities around the country to facilitate similar events, including three in Mobile that helped hundreds of Mobilians resolve warrants for minor traffic violations.

The goal of these events is to help anyone with active traffic-related warrants in Mobile Municipal Court resolve them quickly in a relaxed, unintimidating setting — without the fear of arrest. There is no dress code for participants, and the municipal judges and officers of the court will be in plain clothes.

The Nov. 7 Warrant Clinic will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Springhill Recreation Center. Children and family members of those resolving their traffic warrants are welcome to attend. There will be family-friendly entertainment, childcare, food, and other community resources available.

Previous Warrant Clinics in Mobile have been incredibly successful, benefiting citizens and helping quickly resolve traffic-related cases. Those with traffic-related warrants pending in Mobile Municipal Court can sign up for the Nov. 7 clinic at https://form.jotform.com/250077211182043.
