Mobile, Ala. — The City of Mobile invites residents to take advantage of a free financial literacy event on Saturday, March 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Connie Hudson Senior Center.
The city’s Office of Small Business Development and Community Affairs Department are excited to host another “Money Moves” Bootcamp, bringing financial experts together to share important information about improving personal finances and building credit. The event, which will happen in the heart of tax season, will also teach participants about tax preparation and how to use tax returns.
Hosted by the city and its partners, these Money Moves Bootcamps are tailor-made for Mobile residents who want to learn more about strengthening their personal finances, starting a new business, improving their personal credit, or learning more about local financial resources. Saturday’s event is made possible thanks to partnerships with Bank On Alabama and the Mobile Public Library.
Space is still available for the March 14 bootcamp. To register, visit https://tinyurl.com/2wcnye4s. For questions, call (251) 208-7967 or email Small Business Development Manager Archnique Kidd at archnique.kidd@cityofmobile.org.
