Forrest Hill Drive closing for railroad repairs May 16-18

Mobile, Ala. — Forrest Hill Drive will be briefly closed next week for railroad operators can make needed improvements and upgrades to the crossing near Zeigler Blvd. The City of Mobile will be assisting with traffic control while the work is being performed.
From Tuesday, May 16, to Thursday, May 18, Forrest Hill Drive will be closed to through traffic traveling north and south. Motorists passing through the area will need to use the detour below, which includes Ziegler Blvd., University Blvd., Overlook Road and Moffett Road. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation while these upgrades are made to the railway.
