Left Turning Movements Restricted at the Intersection of Government St. and Water St.

Drivers will temporarily be unable to turn left at the intersection of Government and Water streets while the city’s Public Services Department works to determine the cause of a depression in the middle of the roadway beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15
This will require limiting access through the intersection, restricting all left turns. Once the problem is identified, plans will be made to remedy the situation. Access to the parking lot adjacent to the Amtrak platform will be from northbound Water Street only.
Additional information will be provided after the initial investigatory work is completed.
