Mobile, Ala. — The City of Mobile will host an inauguration ceremony for incoming Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis and members of the Mobile City Council at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, in the auditorium at Government Plaza.
The ceremony will mark the official transition in leadership for the City of Mobile and the start of new terms for the City Council members re-elected to serve their constituents. The program will include the official swearing-in ceremony, followed by remarks from the city’s newly elected officials: Mayor Cheriogotis, District 1 Councilman Cory Penn, District 2 Councilwoman Samantha Ingram, District 3 Councilman C.J. Small, District 4 Councilman Ben Reynolds, District 5 Councilman Beau Fleming, District 6 Councilman Josh Woods, and District 7 Councilwoman Gina Gregory.
The Council will also elect its officers for the upcoming term. Members of the media are invited to attend the inauguration, and city officials will be available for interviews following the event.
