Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., free general admission for Mobile County residents (with proof of Mobile County residence) & MMofA members
Closed on Sunday, Monday and all City Holidays.

Located in Langan Municipal Park, the Mobile Museum of Art serves as the art museum of the city of Mobile and the South Alabama, coastal area. For more than fifty years, MMofA has operated as a public/private partnership comprised of city, county and private support through its 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. It is the only accredited art museum in the region.

The Museum:
For over half a century the Mobile Museum of Art has remained an important community resource that people can turn to for dynamic exhibitions, programs, and cultural experiences. To best serve the community’s needs and meet Mobile residents, visitors, and artists wherever they are, MMofA has 4 main focal areas for 2018-2023:

• The Museum Collection (6,000+ objects of fine arts, crafts and decorative arts)
• The art of our times (contemporary)    
• The art of our place (the American south)
• Family-friendly programs and exhibitions for children

*Museum members have free access to the museum during regular operating hours (additional admission may apply for some special exhibitions)
