Bell Ringing to Celebrate Signing of the Constitution

At yesterday’s City Council Meeting, Councilwoman Bess Rich presented a proclamation to Olive J. Dodge Elementary School PACE students whose project to honor the official founding of our country and sacrifices of the patriots will culminate in a bell ringing this Sunday, September 17th at 2:00PM.
“This wonderful project connects students to the founding of our country and allows them to educate our greater community about it,” said Councilwoman Bess Rich. “I hope many citizens will join in marking this important moment in our history.”
The project invites all Americans near and far to participate in the national historic event by ringing their own bells at their homes, businesses, schools and churches.
