City of Mobile, Secret Scientist to host toy giveaway December 19
Mobile, Ala. — The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) is partnering with Mobile-based Secret Scientist Clothing for an incredible holiday event that will put toys in the hands of hundreds of local children. The Secret Santa Toy Giveaway and Holiday Extravaganza will be held at the Mobile Convention Center from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19. Secret Scientist, the growing streetwear company founded in 2009 by Mobilian Tony Davis, will be giving away up to $50,000 worth of toys to local children. This FREE event is open to the public and will also feature free food and drinks, inflatables, music, photo opportunities and more.
“It is incredible to see a successful company like Secret Scientist giving back to the community, and we are thrilled to partner with them to make this fantastic holiday event for local kids possible,” Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson said. “I know there will be a lot of smiling faces at the event next Tuesday.” Toys will be available for free, one per child, while supplies last.
