Old Shell Road between Hillsdale, Wacker lanes to remain closed through Monday

Mobile, Ala. — A section of Old Shell Road just west of Interstate 65 will remain temporarily closed through Monday, September 29, so that Spire Gas can make repairs to one of its utility lines.

Local traffic and residents will still be able to access their homes. Through traffic will detour north onto McGregor Avenue, then east onto Spring Hill Avenue, and finally east onto New Shiloh Avenue, before returning to Old Shell Road. A map of the detour is attached. Additional updates will be provided as soon as the road has reopened.
