Mayor Stimpson Welcomes PowerSchool CEO Hardeep Gulati

Mobile – 9/24/2019 City of Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson welcomed PowerSchool CEO Hardeep Gulati to a meeting Tuesday to discuss PowerSchool’s long-term commitment to the City of Mobile and the state of Alabama. PowerSchool recently created more than 30 new jobs at its Mobile office.

“I’m pleased PowerSchool is bringing new high-technology jobs to Mobile as it helps diversify our workforce,” Stimpson said.

From the front office to the classroom to the home, PowerSchool helps schools and districts efficiently manage instruction, learning, grading, attendance, assessment, analytics, state reporting, special education, student registration, talent, finance, and human resources.

PowerSchool SIS was selected earlier this year by the Alabama State Department of Education to provide services for 750,000 students at public schools and districts throughout the state.

With more than 2,000 employees worldwide and 80 employees and contractors across Alabama, PowerSchool is committed to giving educators and administrators secure, unified technology that works best for their community.
