Mobile, Ala. — Come take care of all your Christmas shopping and help support local businesses at the City of Mobile's 2023 Small Business Saturday: Outdoor Holiday Market on Saturday, Nov. 25.
The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Mobile's Office of Supplier Diversity will once again host a market for local vendors and small businesses to coincide with Small Business Saturday. This year's event will be Saturday, Nov. 25, from noon to 4 p.m. in Cathedral Square and along Claiborne and Jackson Streets. Vendors, shoppers and visitors are invited to present or peruse the unique Christmas offerings from several local businesses. This is a great way to showcase your small business, support local vendors and get everything you need for the holiday season!
"We saw a great turnout the first two years we hosted this holiday market, which is one of many ways our Office of Supplier Diversity supports and highlights small businesses," Mayor Sandy Stimpson said. "What better gift for a Mobilian than something locally made right here in our community."

A $50 participation fee will cover booth space for the event and a table and tent for participants. A City of Mobile business or peddler's license is required to participate. Either can be applied for at https://www.cityofmobile.org/government/revenue/business-license-application/.
