The City of Mobile is seeking a pool maintenance service to maintain a number of pool facilities in the City of Mobile.

These facilities include outdoor pools, wading pools, splash pads, and one therapy pool.

The period of service will be from date of award through March 2021. Service may be extended beyond March 2021 on a month-to-month basis.

Specifications are attached.

Provide your pricing back by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Provide your price per month to maintain the attached list of water facilities.

Pool operator to perform the following:

POOLS

1. Including but not limited to:
   
   
   
   
   • pool chemical balance
   
   
   • Backwashing
   
   
   • Vacuuming
   
   
   • General pump room duties
   
   
   
   


2. Each site to be serviced initially, 3-4 times per week to get chemicals back under control and balanced.

WADING POOLS/SPLASH PADS

1. Cleaned and free of debris 1-2 times per week

POOL SPECIFICATIONS

Each pool on average contains 45,000-55,000 gallons of water. 6-lane, 25-yard pools. Two pools have no-wade entries.

CERTIFICATION

               Certification as Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator.

 

EXPERIENCE

               Minimum of 1-year commercial pool cleaning/maintenance experience.

 

Contractor to provide:

• Poles

• Vacuum


• Brooms


• Test kits


• Any additional tools necessary

City of Mobile to provide:

• Access to facility
