Salary Information

Members of the Mobile City Council receive a salary that is fixed at the sum of $2,050 per month, plus $300 for each regular and special meeting, as well as a flat expense account of $325 a month.  A council member who attends all meetings will make about $42,900 annually.

The mayor’s salary is $125,000 per year. (Effective November 1, 2021)
