The City of Mobile (“City”) is seeking SEALED BIDS from Personnel Payroll/Staffing Service vendors (Contractor) who can provide payroll services to support the City “Youth Empowered for Success” (YES) summer intern program. The City’s annual YES intern program begins annually on or about the first week of June, and runs for 6-8 weeks until on or about the end of July. YES employs 100-150 Mobilians who are 16-24 years old, and are selected by the City after application, screening, and interview. Contractor’s role will be to relieve the City of onboarding and payroll management responsibilities, and provide an important learning experience for Interns in online workforce enrollment, timekeeping, and payment. Contractors must be a full-service staffing company that uses web-based enrollment and management systems and can provide in-person, on-site instruction and onboarding support. Any response that arrives improperly marked or with no bid number and opening date on the outside of the delivery or express package and opened in error will be rejected and not considered. It is the responsibility of the bidder to insure that their bid response is delivered to and received in the Purchasing Department before the date and time of the bid opening.
