A court-appointed lawyer is a lawyer who is appointed by a Municipal Judge who will assist and defend someone during criminal law proceedings. Researching laws, arguing the defense case before the court, as well as providing legal advice to the Defendant, are a few of the tasks a court appointed attorney can perform.
